A Great Walkabout Weekend!
Many thanks to all who visited Flower Festival and Walkabout on 6th & 7th July last year. The weather was kind, the turnout was high, there was a lovely athmosphere throughout the village and our fundraising efforts were well rewarded. With approximately £14,000 raised this year, we have been able to support much needed maintenance and improvements to our village hall and historic church, together with playgound markings for the village school and a line marking machine for Fladbury Football Club. Our wonderful visitors all contibuted a further £1,500 (approx) to our village school, through activities arranged by the PTA.
If you visited our Walkabout in 2019, we'd love to hear from you - both good and bad! What did you enjoy most? Where could we improve? What else could we add or take away? If you could spare a little time to share your experiences we'd really appreciate it, please click here to eMail us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or post your comments on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/FladburyWalkabout
It is with considerable regret that Walkabout 2020 has been cancelled, due to uncertainty (in the critical planning and preparation phase), caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The next Walkabout will be on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July 2021 - we hope to see you there!
The Flower Festival is a major attraction of Fladbury Walkabout & this year will be no exception, #FladWalk2019 will adorn the church on the theme of 'My Favourite Things' - come along 6-7 July & see if your favourites are there!
