FRIENDS OF FLADBURY

The Festive Five 2020 is a 5 mile multi-terrain course, mainly off road, along the banks of the River Avon, through Fladbury Village and Lower Moor, Worcestershire. This run is organised by The Friends of Fladbury community group and all the profits from the event will go towards community projects in Fladbury and Alzheimer’s Research UK.

This is our village finale to the festive season and there is a chance for the whole village to get involved – you can run, marshall, make cakes, serve teas, hand out goody bags… So please get in touch with

Julie (veseyhouse@live.co.uk 007513 954102) or

Lou (louise@birdseyesports.co.uk 07968 252847)

if you are able to help out in any way, look on Facebook or on posters around the village for more details of the race.

Now open for entries – https://www.stuweb.co.uk/3753

Roger and I send our grateful thanks to all who came to help celebrate

my “big birthday”. Everyone said what a lovely relaxing evening, with plenty of good food and chat! Ladies, thank you all for the wonderful puddings. As a wonderful bonus, thanks to people’s generosity, we

made £449 for St Richard’s Hospice. Thank you.              Moyagh

And  many thanks.....

  • to all who contributed to the POPPY APPEAL  in Fladbury during Coffee & Chat and on the Green – see the Five Alive for details
  • for the goodwill, energy and hard work given by many people for the  CHARITY CHRISTMAS FAIR in the Village Hall – during the floods!
